Recover Performance Without Costly Full Replacement
C & C Welding operates at the intersection of fabrication, restoration, and reinforcement. From structural steel and architectural metal to vehicle frame recovery, each project is approached through material behavior, load demand, and real-world use. Based in Waynesboro, the shop supports residential, commercial, and equipment-based work across Augusta County and surrounding areas.
Local Knowledge
Extensive familiarity with regional construction patterns, inspection requirements, and environmental stressors affecting metal structures across Waynesboro and surrounding counties.
Structural Focus
Work centers on reinforcement, load support, and functional restoration rather than cosmetic fixes. Every repair or fabrication is built to perform under real structural conditions.
Service Flexibility
Projects handled onsite or in-shop, depending on scale, access, and structural requirements. Equipment and workflow adapt to property, vehicle, or industrial needs.

OUR GOAL
Metal Structures, Mechanical Frames, and Load-Bearing Fabrication
Projects range from residential installations to industrial structural components. Work includes reinforcement, restoration, fabrication, and installation across steel systems exposed to load stress, corrosion, or mechanical fatigue. Service extends across Waynesboro and the surrounding counties, where structural durability is critical.
Structural Components
Beams, columns, supports, and framing elements, fabricated or restored to maintain stability in buildings, equipment structures, and mechanical systems.
Mechanical Frames
Vehicle frames, trailers, and equipment structures are repaired and reinforced to restore alignment, safety, and functional performance after structural deterioration.
Architectural Metal
Gates, railings, and custom steel features are fabricated for exterior and interior use where structural integrity and long-term durability are required.
From Structural Assessment to Final Installation
Structural Condition Evaluation
01
Every project begins with a direct assessment of the metal condition, load demands, and failure points. Structural stress, corrosion penetration, and material fatigue are examined to determine reinforcement, repair, or fabrication requirements before work begins.

What Property Owners, Contractors, and Vehicle Operators Say

Phenomenal craftsmanship, incredible value and amazingly nice folks - a great attribute to this fine community.Posted on Steve RTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I needed to have an outrigger repaired for one of my machines. They had me fixed and usable in under an hour, as a walk in. (I had the broken parts, went hiking, and found them essentially by accident) The repair was properly prepared by grinding and removing old welds, Tacked, then with my approval of the positioning, welded. The beads are perfect, penetrating both metals without melting/burning or under temperature. Absolutely great service, price, and quality. I'd highly recommend these guys.Posted on Elizabeth WilkinsonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. C&C Welding saves the day!!! I cannot thank them enough. I am a senior citizen with a "senior" vehicle. My beloved 1998 Ford Explorer failed inspection in July due to rusted out Body Mounts. It is a very difficult repair. The mechanic I regularly use told me that if I could find the parts, he could do the repair. It was really frustrating because I could not locate the parts anywhere locally, and Ford in Waynesboro does not answer their phone, and the sign on their service bay states they only service "current models". I looked in the Yellow Pages and found C&C Welding because they do sheet metal fabrication. That gave me a glimmer of hope. I contacted them and was connected with Aaron Wolfe (AKA Bigs). I explained what I needed and he told me to bring the car in so he could take a look. I was there the next morning, and Mr. Wolfe took measurements and quoted me a price and said he could have the parts ready for pick up that evening. He was true to his word and I picked the parts up that evening. The next week I brought my car to my mechanic and he had it for three days without touching it. He said he had no idea when he would get to it. I called Mr. Wolfe at C&C Welding and explained what happened and asked him if he would be able to install the Body Mounts. We scheduled a date for the work to begin, and I brought it to them the night before. He said it would take 2 to 3 days to complete, and that he would let me know more after he started and could see what needed to be done. He called me that afternoon (I was so delighted to know he was already working on it). He told me to do the job properly, they were going to have to remove all of the seats and carpet. He gave me a price quote, and I told him that would be fine. Inside I was cringing at the thought of what the interior of my sweet Explorer would look like after all that, but it needed to be done. I prayed for the safety of Mr. Wolfe and all the others who would be helping with the repair. Welding is dangerous and hot work to begin with, and temperatures in our city were in the 90s every day they worked on my car. I also prayed that God would help them with this very challenging repair. On the 3rd day, I called to check on the progress of the repair. I was delighted to hear that the work would be completed by the end of the day, and that the price was under the upper limit of the quote I had been given. I picked my car up the next morning. Mr. C and his Grandson , who also works there, were in the office when I paid the bill. I was pleased to tell them about the great impression everyone in their business had made on me. The interior of my car was all perfectly back in place and all of my belongings were there as well. My car passed its reinspection, and I am good to go for another year. It is good to know where I can go if I need custom parts made in the future. I so appreciate C&C Welding. Everyone there is polite, welcoming, professional, and highly competent. Their sense of urgency in completing the work for me was very inspiring, and that they did so in spite of extremely hot weather. I thank them, and may God Bless them all! I just picked up the second welding job I've used C&C Welding Service for and both jobs have gone smoothly, interactions with a number of employees were friendly, and both jobs were as fairly priced as any trade I've used Highly recommended.Posted on Thomas Salkeld Jr.Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Cant say if they do good work, havent even been able to get an estimate for going on 6 weeks now.
Frequently Asked Questions
Property owners, contractors, and vehicle operators often need clarity before moving forward with structural metal work. Below are answers to common questions related to fabrication, repair, and welding services in Waynesboro and surrounding counties.
Can a rusted vehicle frame be safely repaired instead of replaced?
Frame repair depends on how deeply corrosion has affected structural thickness and load capacity. If damage is localized, reinforcement welding and section restoration can recover strength and stability. When structural integrity is severely compromised across large sections, replacement may be the safer option.
When is on-site welding necessary instead of bringing metal to a shop?
What types of structures require structural steel fabrication?
How do I know if a metal structure needs reinforcement or full replacement?
Do welding repairs help pass vehicle inspection after structural damage?
Restore Structural Strength Before Damage Expands
Whether restoring a frame, reinforcing steel, or fabricating new components, early evaluation protects long-term structural reliability across Waynesboro and surrounding areas.
